You can also use Uber or Lyft. House Rules & Important Information We want you to feel welcome, comfortable, and enjoy your stay at our Happy Guest House. We live in the main house and rent out our guest house, so while you have your own private space, we kindly ask that you treat the property and surroundings with care and respect, as we share the same land. Parking • You may park your car(s) daily at the end of Lake Hiawassee Road, with the brick wall directly in front of you. • You are welcome to use the side road to drive closer to the guest house for unloading luggage or groceries, then please back out toward the designated parking area, as there is no U-turn space available. Wi-Fi • Network: Happy House Guest • Password: happyorlandohouseGuest During Your Stay • We are on a septic system, so please do not flush anything in the toilet except toilet paper. • We are on well water, which contains natural minerals such as iron, so at times you may notice a natural odor. Bottled drinking water is recommended for your stay. • Complimentary bottled water, sparkling water, and a Brita water filter pitcher in the refrigerator are provided for your convenience. • Complimentary tea, variety of coffee, soft drinks, snacks, and sweets are also provided to help you settle in and enjoy your stay. Several coffee-making options are available for your use. • Garbage cans are located by the white garage door of the main house: 💚 Green can for regular trash 💙 Blue can for recycling • Please keep all doors and windows closed while inside: 1️⃣ The air conditioning system should not run with doors or windows open, as this may cause the system to freeze and lead to loss of cooling for up to 72 hours. AC service availability can also be limited during busy seasons. 2️⃣ Because of Florida’s climate, rainy season, and proximity to the lake, palmetto bugs can quickly enter if doors are left open. • This is a non-smoking property of any kind. • No parties, loud gatherings, or events are allowed on the property. Check-Out We kindly ask only two small things at departure: • Please remove garbage from the house. • Please wash any used dishes.
