You will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located 1920s craftsman featuring en-suite bedroom for guests to rest their heads after a long day exploring Orlando. Truly a calm, happy place with front and back porches, big fenced backyard and fire pit for the cooler months. Our place is quirky with a ton of character and suitable for children who want to run around outside while parents sip refreshments on the back porch.
The property is downtown and quiet but on a busy street with decent foot traffic. People are out and about exercising or walking their dogs in our neighborhood. The bungalow has lots of charm. When it is not rented with overnight guests, it serves as Craftshop Orlando: a collaborative space and art bar - hosting community-centered events and artful private parties.
Guests will have access to the entire home and backyard media room / workspace studio.
SODO or South Downtown Orlando Florida has many notable family-friendly neighborhoods and top tier destinations including Orlando Health and Winnie Palmer and Arnold Palmer Hospitals. We are a stone’s throw from Lake Davis, Delaney Park, Bel Air, Greenwood Cemetery, Greenwood Wetlands, Curry Ford and South Orange Ave. We are walking distance to 903 Mills Market cafe and a short drive from all the local eats of Hourglass District, Packing District, College Park, Winter Park, Baldwin Park, Audubon Park, Colonialtown, Mills 50, Milk District, Ivanhoe Village, Thornton Park, Lake Eola Heights, SODO, Conway and Downtown.
Getting around is easy. From the airport, rent a car or take a 20 minute rideshare. From our house to major attractions is 20-30 minutes on the easily accessible highway. Scooters are available to rent downtown, however beware of the historic cobblestone streets around us. To get to Kia Center or Dr Phillips Center for a show, consider a 5 minute rideshare. For day trips around town or to the beach, we recommend you have a car.
Cancellation policy
A deposit is part of the total rent payment and is non-refundable. In case of cancellation, the tenant will forfeit the deposit, and the remaining rent will not be charged.
