Two bedroom, one bath guesthouse conveniently located in Downtown Orlando along Mills50, in the quiet historic Colonialtown South neighborhood. We are blocks away to Thornton Park and Lake Eola, a favorite walking area with shops and restaurants. A little further and you are in Central Downtown Orlando where you’ll find bars, theaters, Amway Arena, Church Street Station, Orlando City Stadium and the Sunrail Station. There are two bedrooms, each with queen size beds. One bedroom has a desk should you need to work while you're here. The second bedroom has a futon for extra sleeping space. The living room has an oversized couch, large and comfy enough to sleep on. If you want to stay in, we have WiFi and a smart TV (you provide your own logins), as well as a few board games to play while you’re here. The kitchen is stocked with the basics to prepare meals during your stay: full size fridge, stove/oven, stovetop kettle, drip coffee maker, microwave, toaster, dishes, flatware, pots/pans, bakeware, salt/pepper, cooking oil. *Please note that there is NO dishwasher. All dishes are to be hand washed by guests if used. The bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, and hair dryer for your use. There is a washer/dryer in the unit should you need to do any laundry. We have a small outdoor space covered in turf located in front of the guest house entrance which is shared with the main house. There is a bit of a drop off on the edge by the steps which lead to the guest house, so please supervise your young ones closely if you’ll be enjoying the space. You’ll have the entire guest house, minus some closet space which will be clearly marked for owner's use. Shared outdoor space. Free street parking. Driveway may be used for loading/unloading only. There are solar powered lights along pathway leading to guest house, but recommend leaving the porch light on for extra visibility when returning at night. *IMPORTANT TO NOTE: Stairs are required to access. NOT wheelchair accessible. We live in the main house, so will likely run into you during your stay. Our kiddos like to play in the backyard, but we do our best to give our guests privacy. Colonialtown South is one of Orlando's historic neighborhoods offering an urban suburban mix feel. Enjoy the midcentury bungalows on brick paved roads as you discover local bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and parks. PARKING The driveway is available for loading and unloading your belongings. Street parking is available for free, but be aware that it can get busy on our corner due to our proximity to one of our popular neighborhood restaurants, so you may have to park a bit further down or on an adjacent street. TRANSPORTATION Many local bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and parks are within walking distance from our location. If you’re traveling a bit further or just want to avoid the heat, download the app for a rideshare such as Uber or Lyft. Electric scooters and bikes are dotted throughout downtown by Lime, Bird, and a couple other companies. Download their app to use and locate. No pets or smoking on premises. Families are welcome!
