Enjoy family time in the living room. Save time and money preparing snacks or meals in the efficient kitchen. There is a dining area and outside patio with lake views. The 1st floor Master Bedroom with plush queen bed has a private bath and is quiet and serene. The upstairs bedroom is huge and features 2 queen beds, full bath, walk in closet and balcony. This is a lot of home for less than a boxy hotel room with no way to prepare a meal. You use the entire home. All yours. Don't feel like cooking? So many options! Westgate Lakes next door has a restaurant and deli and market. You'll need to catch a golf cart or shuttle ride to their lobby but will find a lot of interesting things to check out such as an art gallery, spa, gym, game arcade and brochure counters. You'll have at least 100+ other dining options as the spectacular restaurant row is just up the street on Sandlake Road. Oh my goodness! From First Watch Breakfast/Lunch to Chris Ruth Steak house, all the best restaurants are here! International Drive nearby also offers a wonderful variety of dining options. There is even a Gourmet McDonalds where a chef will prepare your crepes and waffles for you! Groceries: 24 HOUR Super Wal-Mart within 3 blocks has groceries, pharmacy, souvenirs and sells attraction tickets at a discount. Flagship Whole Foods store is open until 9 pm has steam tables of international foods and organic pizza ovens going all day, outdoor café and cooking classes - too much fun! Publix is open till 10 pm also nearby where locals shop to avoid crowds. You are just minutes from everything you'll need. MAIN ATTRACTIONS: Access to Disney (Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Downtown Disney, Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, Planet Hollywood, House of Blues is via Turkey Lake Road then Palm Parkway - a back way in to avoid clogged Interstate 4. No need to get up there and stop and go. SeaWorld is just 2 street lights as is Discovery Cove and the new Aquatica Water Park. Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Hard Rock Café, and City Walk shops and new Volcano Bay Waterpark and night clubs - just 3 street lights. Amazing! Orange County Convention Center - less than 7 minutes (3-4 traffic lights, just across Interstate 4). Uber/Lyft approx $8. Many of my guests reserve yearly for their convention shows as participants or attendees. BEACHES & RACE TRACK Cocoa Beach is a breezy 45-minute drive east via 528 Expressway. Clearwater and St Pete beaches (also famous Ybor City and Busch Gardens )1.5 hr. to the west via I-4. Daytona Beach is 1 hour northeast on I-4. They have an updated boardwalk and 'drive your car on the beach' shoreline fun. Enjoy a day trip for fresh sea breezes. AIRPORT: Orlando International Airport is attractive and beautifully landscaped. 20 minutes from the townhome. SHOPPING Endless! From the exciting high-end Millenia Mall featuring more delicious restaurant choices to the vast Florida Mall you'll have all the stores you know. Outlet Malls are enormous especially Premium Outlet Malls one next to Disney the other on famous International Drive. INDOOR ACTIVITIES FOR INCLEMENT WEATHER DAYS We don't have to shovel sunshine here but now and then it may rain. There's indoor glow in the dark golf, several game places "The Fun Spot", movie theaters, bowling, and ice skating too. GOLFING Everywhere! The town home is under my personal care. My cell phone is on 24/7. If you have any questions or concerns they are taken care of as soon as possible. I live just 15 minutes away and having several years experience at managing vacation rentals, have an excellent support staff to take care of any emergencies or repairs that you may find needed. Don't wait till you leave to call if you find something needing attention. Your comfort and need to feel you have a local contact is important to me. I've delivered packages, walked dogs, helped guests buy a home if they are here to relocate and enjoy being of assistance. Sandlake Village Townhomes is a small quiet community just minutes from all three major parks. All townhomes are angled so the view from the rear patio is of the lake, green areas, and tennis courts. The neighborhood has a zero crime rate and no thru traffic. It's in what's considered the best section of Orlando (Southwest corridor) and easy access to all attractions and major roads. The community is buffered from highway noise by a large hill yet you are close to easy access roads. There are even shortcuts to Disney and Universal to avoid the busy interstate. Most of the townhomes are privately owned with several in use as vacation rentals or winter homes. You'll find it is a peaceful oasis in the middle of all the fun activities nearby. Orlando - famous for poor public transportation. Not to worry! Renting a car is your best bet. If you need transportation cab is your next best option. Westgate Lakes Resort next door has cab service on call so if you call for a cab they'll be there quickly. On site, if you'd like to visit the mail lobby of Westgate next door you are welcome to do so. They have a spa, deli, market, brochure counters and art gallery. There is a small bus that circles between the restaurant next to your section to their lobby. Just hope on for a free ride to and from. Dog friendly UNDER 25 LBS, sorry NO CATS. Will make exception for show dogs. Pet fee. No pets on beds EVER. Must have proof of vaccinations and pre-treat for fleas. Dog walk service available. We strive to be allergen-free - therefore extra fee for extra cleaning. You'll need to crate or confine your dog while out so they do not bark at people walking by the rear sliding patio doors.
