This charming CapeCod style lakefront , lake access cottage invites you leave the world for a quick get away. Soak up the sun on the Deck, or read a book on a whimsical concrete table by the lake or use the wifi in the comfort of your private large living room. Enjoy the privacy of the master bedroom with an attached updated full bathroom. After some time out on the dock by Crystal lake use your private full kitchen to cook up a meal. You get the feeling of having the entire house. No matter what brings you to Orlando, if you are looking for a cosy, charming, old world, retreat by the beautiful Crystal Lake and Crystal Lake Park you found the perfect place. The CapeCod style Cottage was built in 1965 as per the official records. My neighbor Tom who has lived here for 60 years says the house is a 100 years old and was moved to the site. It comes complete with slightly squeaky floors ( that are always moped clean ) and solidwood cabinets that must be from the original build. If you bring your Kayak you can go fishing or you can fish right from the Dock. You have your private entrance and I have mine. There is no Lake view from your suite. Its ideal for a vacation/work from home use. There is a large desk and upon request I can give you a spare monitor. The kitchen has its own window exhaust unit and there is a ac unit in the living and bedroom. I also have central AC which can be used if needed. You have a private Bed , Bath , Living room and a kitchen area including sink that is exclusively for your private use. You have full access to the lake , the dock and the deck . As a bonus , feel free to take the fresh lime that grows in the backyard. oh yes, if you are here during the summer the large mangoe trees literally rain Kent Mangoes. Take as many as you want ! I'm going to be in the backyard patio and I'll use the bedroom upstairs. You might be greeted by my dog Krish ( a full size super friendly labradoodle). He will play with you or we will make sure he respects your privacy. Just let me know your preference ahead of time. The welcome hugs from krish are free ! Also if you are a dog person and need pet therapy he will be happy to sit with you and watch TV, as long as you are giving him your complete attention :) You are 1.5 miles way from Orlando Health, 2 miles from Orlando's bustling downtown with all of its attractions, 15 minutes from I drive , 30 mins from Disney and 25 minutes from UCF. The neighbors are friendly and respectful. This is a quiet place. A mix of young families, single owners and retired people. The lawn is well maintained on all the properties in the neighborhood. SODO is a rapidly improving area that is next to the exclusive lake front communities of downtown Orlando. The best way to get to downtown will be to bike / walk or uber depending on time of day and weather. If you rent a car there is plenty of space to park in the front yard. A private room with the feel of the entire house. You have a private living and dining area, a master bedroom with walk in closet and attached full bathroom, a private kitchen. And ofcourse the lake ! I understand travel plans change and I'm usually willing to accommodate date changes for long term guests ( over 2 weeks ) by few days as long as you let me know a week in advance. I provide silverware, basic condiments in the refrigerator, if you are staying for over 2 weeks I can arrange for a professional cleaner to come in one time during your stay.
