Brand new laundry room, and from there, step onto our back deck, with a table and chairs for 6. We won’t be there to greet you, but your check-in will be via lockbox and all information will be given to you in the days leading up to your arrival. The neighborhood is called Lake Eola Heights- it’s one of the historic districts in Orlando. Our street is lined with brick, all the houses are old and full of character- it’s a great area for walking. We’re a 10 minute walk to all the cool new spots on Mills (in the thriving Mills50 district), just south of Colonialtown full of epic Vietnamese food, and a 10 minute walk in a different direction to Thornton Park, full of cafes and pubs. For nature lovers, the lakes are endless. Lake Eola AND it’s farmers market are just a 10 minute walk as well. For those seeking cultural events, the Orlando Philharmonic, the Orlando Ballet, the Science Center, and the renowned Dr. Phillips Center for the Arts are all within striking distance. Driving is easy to navigate- we’re close to all major highways and about 25-30 minutes from Disney, Epcot, Universal, Harry Potter World, and Discovery Cove. Once situated in our house, you can walk to coffee, Publix, restaurants, bars, etc. Uber and taxis are everywhere as well.
