“The Clementine”, a quaint home in the trendy heart of Orlando. Tons of local restaurants, bars, playgrounds, grocery stores, and the artistic scene are within minutes of driving and in many cases, walking distance. Disney is only 35 minutes away, Seaworld 25 minutes, and Universal 20 minutes. We are an hour away from the Atlantic Ocean on the east and two hours from the Gulf of Mexico on the west. Upscale Winter Park is just down the street. The location is perfect for anything you want to do.
Our home is nestled on a brick paved street. The guest house has a separate entrance, a large backyard, and a covered picnic table.
There is a picnic table just outside the Clementine that you are welcome to use. We have a charcoal grill that you can use as well, just make sure you clean it afterwards. Grill tools are in the main house so let me know if you need them. Our kids also have a trampoline. Families love our backyard! Guests are welcome to enjoy the basketball hoop and trampoline at their own discretion. Basketball can be found in the shed.
We are Kirk, Brandi, London, Charlie & Spencer. We love to travel, we love food, and we love to show off our city so if you have any questions about where to go we're happy to assist. We hope you will come see a different side of Orlando while doing the tourist thing too! We can mostly be as accessible as you need, but we're also happy to give you whatever space you want to unwind.
Orlando's Urban Trail is a few blocks away for walkers or bikers. We are in the heart of the Orlando foodie scene: check out Michelin star nominated Tori Tori and The Strand, or get some urban barbecue from Pig Floyd’s, have some tapas at Santiago's Bodega, or go to Greece with local food from The Greek Corner. (We could name more, but we'll wait till you're here). Two theaters, an excellent science center for adults and kids, and the Orlando Museum of Art are all a mile from our house. There is also a grocery store within walking distance.
There is a bike and scooter rental place nearby perfect for scooting around town. There are different ways you can rent based on how much time you need. You can look up the location where you want to rent them here by searching “orlando bike and scooter rental” online.
Another option would be uber if you’re needing to go a decent distance. But if you feel you’ll be sight seeing for most of your visit and will be here a length of time you’re best best would be to rent a car.
