Renovated guesthouse on the same property behind our 1920's historic home in the Mills 50 District near Downtown Orlando. A large room with a comfortable queen-sized bed, a flat screen TV, two accent chairs, a kitchen corner, a/c, mini-fridge, microwave, WiFi, coffee maker and full bathroom. There is also access to a shared laundry space in the same building. Within walking distance to many bars and restaurants! A very friendly and safe neighborhood with self-check-in. Mills 50 is an urban district of Orlando with a vibrant, culturally diverse, progressively minded, and eclectic mix of artists, restaurants, businesses, specialty shops and markets. Our street and home are quiet but are just a few steps away from many shops, bars and restaurants. No pets or smoking allowed. Access to a shared laundry in the same building. DINING There are a ton of local dining options in the Mills 50 area! Standouts include Piggza, Hawkers Asian Street Fare, Mamak Asian Street Food, Poke Hana, Black Bean Deli, Tako Cheena, Pig Floyd’s, Plantees, Purple Ocean Superfood, and Black Rooster Taqueria. Want to grab a drink and enjoy Japanese pub food? Head to Tori Tori near the intersection of Mills and Colonial. Santiago’s Bodega - Spanish tapas restaurant that is open late until 2 am. SIPPING We have 2 great bars next to our house: The Guesthouse and Sunroom. They are both stylish and inviting with excellent craft cocktails and beer/wine options. Black Rooster Taqueria is next door to each of the bars as an added bonus. Wally’s: the oldest bar in Orlando, around since the 60’s. Check out Dirty Laundry and Will’s Pub for live music and a dive bar atmosphere. Grape & The Grain: beer and wine bar with a nice outdoor patio. Ten10 Brewing Co: local brewery within a 3-minute walk. Next to Ten10, you will find Quantum Leap Winery for an intimate wine tasting experience. Coffee: Lineage Coffee, Qreate Coffee and Haan Coffee. There are a ton of options nearby, please reach out for tailored recommendations, we would be happy to help you out. While there are many great places within walking distance from the AirBnb, having a vehicle is ideal when getting around Orlando. If you have your own vehicle, please park in the parking lot across the street from the house or along the street in the neighborhood. The driveway is reserved for the homeowners. Please note: Our street gets very busy on the weekends due to the surrounding bars & restaurants, so parking may be limited in the evenings. If you plan on using a ride sharing service, our location is a hotspot for Uber/Lyft drivers and in many cases, you can get a ride in under 5 mins. Our co-host Calvin lives next door and helps manage the guesthouse.
