Large balcony by elevators was built for guests to watch the nightly Disney fireworks and smoking cigarettes. No smoking on balcony off living room. The unit is better than the photos portray; you can't put a price tag on the relaxing balcony view of Lake Bryan you will have that no hotel nearby can offer! Most of my guests prefer Uber/Lyft because my place is so close to Disney, and Lyft/Uber offers more flexibility on times obviously. Lyft/Uber drops you right in front of the park entrance you want to go to, EPCOT, Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios. Magic Kingdom is the ONLY Disney park that requires all visitors to do this "bus to train or boat connection, In other words, if you are going to EPCOT, Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios take a Lyft/Uber. Save money and most importantly SAVE TIME. Disney has exclusive rideshare (Lyft/Uber) lanes to drop passengers off right at the front entrance of EPCOT, ANIMAL KINGDOM and HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS. If you are going to Magic Kingdom, then you have to get dropped off at the Transportation Center. There is NO PARKING directly at Magic Kingdom, like there is at EPCOT, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. I recommend taking Lyft to and from Disney parks. From Blue Heron to EPCOT with Lyft for four people is $12.00, or Lyft XL for six people is $17.00. It's the most convenient and cheapest way if there are at least three people in your group. When leaving any Disney park, there is a FREE one-way shuttle bus that is FREE and goes to Disney Springs, because they want your business (lots of nightlife and theatre) after you leave the park. "This was one of the best trips and rentals we have ever had in many trips to Florida: An absolute pleasure to see the beautiful lakeside at the Blue Heron Resort. The location, access, and amenities were perfect. Set directly on Lake Bryan with a huge pier that juts out into the water it is very serene in a very populated location and includes a monstrous heated pool, hot tub, children's wading pool, and one more smaller pool. Having a front desk to answer any question was well appreciated ($30.00 fee pays for parking and front desk 24/7 help for entire visit). (Seasonal fee) Upon entering the condo, your bedroom and private bathroom are both well-appointed. This front bedroom is close to the front door and "private balcony" that works great for viewing the Disney fireworks every night at 9pm and 10pm. It's super private! The back of the condo includes the lakeview/pool. The kitchen is a perfectly appointed use of space, well taken care of, and with everything anyone could need!" Traffic can get heavy near the entrance/exit to the building but never was a problem, it's actually good because it stops and makes it easier to get in and out. Use your GPS to find best routes. Plenty of covered parking. (Might be fee $30 if busy season) Blue Heron has all the conveniences of a high-end resort! If you are missing anything, you can get it without going too far."
