No unregistered guests permitted in condo because it is a shared “living areas” condo with other paying guests. Check-in is any time after 4:00 pm, and check-out is 11:00 am weekdays and Saturday; and on Sundays it’s 1:00 pm. I rent my personal vacation condo when I’m not there. (See pics.) It is not a timeshare with just the basics. My condo has everything and more! “It’s like home away from home, but with amazing views and next to Disney,” I’ve been told. (And if you smoke, this is the balcony to do so, the balcony overlooking Disney Springs.) Large folding chairs with cup holders are to be used for sitting on balcony overlooking Disney Fireworks. Very safe condo/hotel security camera in use for added safety. There is NOT a $30 fee for the week YET for parking right now, but there might be in the future, which I have no control over; Lyft/Uber is the way to go, especially if you are just going to the parks; it's much cheaper and gives you more flexibility. The unit is better than the photos portray; you can't put a price tag on the relaxing balcony view of Lake Bryan you will have that no hotel can offer! You have to experience it to believe it! Rental car isn't needed if you are only going to Disney parks: Uber/Lyft are very cheap because it's only a few miles away. $25 is what Disney parks charge for daily parking fee in their huge lot. Uber/Lyft takes you right to front entrance to EPCOT, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. Magic Kingdom has its own transportation center, totally different than the other Disney park parking. It's usually $30.00 for Lyft/Uber from Orlando airport to the Blue Heron depending on time of day. During "surge" hours, prices will be higher. "This was one of the best trips and rentals we have ever had in many trips to Florida: An absolute pleasure to see the beautiful lakeside at the Blue Heron Resort. The location, access, and amenities were perfect. Set directly on Lake Bryan with a huge pier that juts out into the water it is very serene in a very populated location and includes a monstrous heated pool, hot tub, children's wading pool, and one more smaller pool. Having a front desk to answer any question was well appreciated ($30.00 fee might be charged for parking and front desk 24/7 help for entire visit). Upon entering the condo, your bedroom and private bathroom are both well-appointed. This front bedroom is close to the front door and "private balcony" that works great for viewing the Disney fireworks every night at 9pm and 10pm and for smoking. It's super private! The back of the condo includes the view of Lake Bryan and pools. The kitchen is a perfectly appointed use of space, well taken care of, and with everything anyone could need! Dishwasher, Microwave, Range, Refrigerator, Washer/Dryer. OpenUnderground aka covered parking fee for entire stay is $30 that front desk might require. (Not a daily rate) Key Card Entry. It's the most convenient and cheapest way if there are at least three people in your group. When leaving any Disney park, there is a FREE one-way shuttle bus that is FREE and goes to Disney Springs, because they want your business (lots of nightlife and theatre) after you leave the park. Then you can an Uber/Lyft to Blue Heron which is two miles away: $8.00 for four people, and $12.00 for Lyft XL for six people. (Prices subject to change) Disney parking is $30 per day. EPCOT, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios has parking in front of their parks; then you can catch the tram to entrance or walk to entrance, it's not too far from where your car is parked to park entrance. Traffic can get heavy near the entrance/exit to the building but never was a problem, it's actually good because it stops and makes it easier to get in and out. Use your GPS to find best routes.
