This is a very big space. Much bigger than the pictures let on. Everything you have read so far about Ruth is true and then some. She is very generous and very gracious, and very competent. She responds immediately to texts and calls and was on time when we met for check-in. She's also very kind, which is nice. This is her home and it shows; there wasn't a speck of dust anywhere in the apartment and she is more than prepared for her guests. The bedding provided the best sleep my girlfriend and I have had in months (so so comfortable). The kitchen had every utensil, pot and pan we needed for cooking. The bathrooms are clean and elegant, and the decor is equally extravagant, with a large HD TV in the living room and a TV in our room. Expensive, elegant (comfy) couches, nice rug and plane glass dining room table, with a view from the 20th floor that is absolutely unparalleled anywhere else in Orlando. (Unless, for some reason, you're looking to empty your pockets at a Marriot or Holiday Inn, but even then you miss the view of Lake Bryan.) The resort pool and hot tub was consistently clean as well, as a resort pool should be, and devoid of any insects like mosquitos or flies, and clean of any debris like trash or leaves. No garbage or wrappers anywhere in the pool area. We swam happily every morning and night. Also, wow. Couldn't be safer. First of all you can't even access the elevators to get to your room without a proper keycard (which means there are no strangers or anyone walking around near the rooms that shouldn't be), and the lobby area leading to the elevators is excellently lit. Not a dark area to be found, so if you're coming in late from the parks, even alone, it always felt very, very safe. Same goes for the pool area. Can't be accessed without a keycard, so it's only available for people staying at the Blue Heron. Overall Ruth's airbnb is very clean, very comfortable, fully furnished, incredibly safe, with a beautiful pool and view of Lake Bryan that is unique to this location. Honest to god, my Brenda and I can't wait to come back. This is an amazing location, seriously. Don't miss the opportunity to take it.” Outdoor pools, hot tub, exercise and game rooms. Buena Vista Watersports will deliver jet skis and pontoon or ski boats right to our dock on Lake Bryan for some aquatic fun for extra fee. "Everything about Blue Heron Beach Resort was awesome!!!! Large balcony by elevators was built for guests to watch the nightly Disney fireworks. A major change in internet is: new fibre optic cable being provided to access points for WIFI. The project is almost complete and all units will have great WIFI connectivity. Disney's Hollywood Studios, SeaWorld Orlando and Walt Disney World are just a short distance away. You will enjoy every minute of your stay. Location is perfect for all tourist attractions & plenty of restaurants in local area within minutes of driving or walking. The unit is better than the photos portray; you can't put a price tag on the relaxing balcony view of Lake Bryan you will have that no hotel can offer! You have to experience it to believe it! When leaving any Disney park, there is a FREE one-way shuttle bus that is FREE and goes to Disney Springs, because they want your business (lots of nightlife and theatre) after you leave the park. Then you can an Uber/Lyft to Blue Heron which is two miles away: $8.00 for four people, and $12.00 for Lyft XL for six people. Disney parking went up again:Parking is $40 per day. EPCOT, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios has parking in front of their parks; then you can catch the tram to entrance or walk to entrance, it's not too far from where your car is parked to park entrance. Lyft/Uber will take you to entrance because Disney has special Lyft/Uber lane for drop-off and pick-up. Minimal. Close to Disney parks, Disney Springs. Universal and Sea World aren't as close as Disney, but they aren't far away. Close to premium outlets. Directions:Take I-4 to 535 South (Disney Springs exit). Turn left at Blue Heron Beach Drive across from Chik-Fil-A into the Starbucks/Subway outparcel entrance. I don't recommend this, but for your FYI: Blue Heron offers a shuttle to Disney parks for extra fee $12.00 per person round-trip. $5.00 to SeaWorld. $14.00 to Universal. (Prices subject to change) Reservations needed in advance. Times going to Disney Transport Center are: 8:50, 10:20 and 12:20. Return from park varies depending on how late parks stay open. Last pick-up is usually 10:30 pm. Lyft/Uber drops you right in front of the park entrance you want to go to, EPCOT, Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios. Blue Heron's $12.00 per person (prices subject to change) shuttle drops you off at the Disney Transport Center, which is just another bus connection center where you have to get in line again and take another bus to another train or boat. (Magic Kingdom is the ONLY Disney park that requires all visitors to do this "bus to train or boat connection"). In other words, if you are going to EPCOT, Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios take a Lyft/Uber. Save money and most importantly SAVE TIME. Disney has exclusive rideshare (Lyft/Uber) lanes to drop passengers off right at the front entrance of EPCOT, ANIMAL KINGDOM and HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS. If you are going to Magic Kingdom, then you have to get dropped off at the Transportation Center. You are sharing my condo, and shared spaces include kitchen, washer/dryer, living and dining rooms. Balcony off living room is also shared. CHECK IN time is any time after 4PM. There’s 24-hour security at the resort and the front desk is open 24 hours a day. - NO VISITORS at any time. - KEEP THE PLACE CLEAN. Please wash your dishes. - NO SMOKING of any kind in the condo, or on the balcony by living room. Smoking only on balcony overlooking Disney Springs and Disney’s fireworks and on-site putt-putt golf. - GO GREEN for our planet. Be conscientious about energy use: turn off lights and A/C when you leave the place. Please do not set A/C lower than 70 degrees. - Do not use the house address as a permanent/mailing address or to establish residency. Ask Ruth if you need Amazon delivery. - Shoes has to be removed in the apartment - NO LOUD BEHAVIOR after 10 pm - Kitchen is suitable for light cooking and warming up and storage of the food. Pls avoid food with the strong odor (the kitchen can be used until 9 PM) - Food can be stored in the fridge, it has to be in separate labeled bag, pls try do not forget to take it at the time of check out. Check out procces: - Guests must take all their belongings. We’re not responsible for items left. We do not ship them - Guests must take all their food from the fridge and throw their trash in trash chute out front door on your left. Extra charges and fees: - If you do not wash your dishes, you agree to pay additional extra cleaning fee $25. - If you check out after 11 am, you agree to pay additional late check out fee.
