Throughout the home, you'll spot art and decor from Beetlejuice, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Star Wars. Your bedroom is adorned with classic works from Van Gogh & Salvador Dali. There is something to see around every corner! LBGTQ+ friendly! My home is not suitable for children under 13 or large dogs that are aggressive or reactive. Breed restrictions apply due to allergies. Just ask! The home is a single-story with an open floor plan. There are vaulted ceilings in the living room, dining area, and kitchen. Your bedroom and my master bedroom are on opposite sides of the hallway in the back of the house, with my private home office in the middle. Your bedroom comes equipped with a ceiling fan, Roku TV with guest access to my streaming channels (or sign into your own), a white noise machine, and a large mini fridge with freezer. In the walk-in closet, you will find a luggage rack, a mini dresser, clothes hangers, clothes iron, ironing board, and an extra blanket. There is a desk and an office chair in the room if you need to work during your stay. In the closet is a computer monitor, keyboard, mouse, and desk lamp that you are welcome to use. My place is great for business travelers and people who work remotely! I have the highest internet speed available from my provider. Your dedicated bathroom is located in the hallway, just a few short steps from your bedroom. It is reserved entirely for your use during your stay. I only rent one room in my home, and there will never be any other guests here with you. In the bathroom cabinet, you will find a ton of toiletries available for your use, as well as a hair dryer. The indoor patio and fenced-in backyard are accessible through my home office. There are several seating options inside the patio, a table and four dining chairs, and a comfy memory foam beanbag that feels like you're floating on a cloud! I also have cards, board games, and yard games in the patio area that are available for use during your stay. The backyard has two seating areas and a fire pit. Going to the beach? You are welcome to borrow my beach chair and umbrella! I also have beach towels available for use during your stay. You will have full access to the kitchen during your stay. Please feel free to use any cups, plates, silverware, cookware, and anything else during your stay. You can even use my condiments! :) Do you need to do laundry? I provide free laundry detergent for my guests. Bringing a car? Free parking is available in my driveway or on the street in front of my house. IMPORTANT: Pets & Service Animals Cats and small dogs are welcome. Maia has lived with cats before and is great with them! Medium and large dogs will be considered on a case-by-case basis and must be housebroken (or in diapers) and docile (non-aggressive, non-reactive). Crate-trained is a plus. I am allergic to certain breeds, so please send me a message if you are interested in bringing an animal. I will gladly welcome any and all animals that I can! EARLY CHECK-IN/LATE CHECKOUT AVAILABLE! Guests may request an early check-in (2 pm) or a late checkout (1 pm) for an additional $25. If interested, please send a note when you request to book. Subject to availability. The guest bedroom and hallway bathroom will be exclusively for your use during your stay. The kitchen, living room, dining room, and indoor patio are all shared spaces. My home office is private but can be used as a throughway to the indoor patio or backyard. Pets are welcome to roam freely in the fenced-in backyard or can be taken out in the front yard or walked around the neighborhood while leashed. However, they must not be kept outside in the backyard for extended periods. The master bedroom is private. I will greet you when you arrive, introduce you to your canine hostess, Maia, and give you the tour. I am also a theme park buff with annual passes to Disney and Universal, and I enjoy sharing my favorite tips. I live in the home and work remotely. I am as accessible as you need, but I also understand if you would like more privacy. Just let me know what you prefer! I'm outgoing and friendly, but I understand if someone doesn't want to interact much. During the weekdays, I prefer to keep interactions to a minimum so I can focus on work. However, I am always available if you need something, so please don't hesitate to ask even if I am working. I'm also a night owl. So if you're an early bird, our paths might not cross much. You'll have quiet mornings to yourself. And don't worry, I am super quiet at night and tiptoe around when guests are sleeping. My dog, Maia, is a 14-year-old, 8-pound female Maltese. Maltese are hypoallergenic for most people with dog allergies (like me). She is very quiet and rarely barks. She will be by my side when I'm home, but will gladly accept pets from the willing. :) She also has a habit of greeting you when you come home. She loves attention! My neighborhood is about 10 minutes away from the Orlando airport (MCO) and 25-35 minutes away from the theme parks! You will also find nearby dining, grocery stores, and shopping.
