Our home is located in an area of Baldwin Park, called The Baskin Mews. There is a large park at the center of the 9 homes in our little corner of Baskin Street. Well-lit sidewalks at night, tree-lined avenues, and lush lawns and landscaping make a walk around the lake an absolute must -morning or night. And while there are plenty of lakes & water features to enjoy here, our favorite is just a 5-minute walk from our front porch. And located there is our favorite pool, as well as a playground and covered picnic cabana, all available for free, to Baldwin residents and their guests.Our home's exterior is in the Mediterranean style, with smooth white stucco and a barrel tile roof. We have a NEST system, so heating and cooling can be controlled at the wall dial or even on your cell phone. Our home has been decorated with an interior design flair that is welcoming, beautiful, and inspired. Each room has personal touches from travels around the globe. It is decorated with comfort & relaxation in mind: Plush fabrics, organic cotton, bed linens, fluffy white towels and a cozy, yet tasteful decor welcome anyone who stays here. Hardwood floors mean it's easy to maintain and all area rugs can be placed in the washing machine for needed touch-ups. Hand-painted furniture and original artwork from local artists fill this home and make it a happy place day in and day out.No detail has been overlooked. Everything you need is provided here, with special attention given to the kitchen, where you will find every option of kitchen gadgetry, tool and serving ware you'll ever need. Also, several different sets of linens & dishes, from casual and colorful to plain white China & a few other sets too, because... Why Not?And you will absolutely love preparing dinner in the roomy kitchen & then dining at the table that can seat up to 8! If you decide you'd like to go out to eat instead, unbelievable restaurants are just a 25 minute walk to downtown Baldwin Park, where you'll find darling shops, cafe's, elegant upscale restaurants, as well as wine bars and a gastropub.
