Summerlin Sanctuary

The host was incredibly welcoming and made our stay very enjoyable.

We arrived on a flight that touched down around 1:00 PM and anticipated having lunch before checking in at 4:00 PM. Unfortunately, when we arrived at 4:00, we were informed that there was a delay due to cleaning still taking place. After waiting until 5:49 PM for a status update with no communication, we followed up again at 7:02 PM and were told we would be updated shortly. It wasn't until approximately 7:45 PM that we gained access to the property. Upon entry, we discovered a leak in the downstairs bathroom, and workers were busy tiling the floor. The noise of tile cutting continued until about 9:30 PM. To make matters worse, we found a used toilet and sink, along with a plunger, left in the kitchen for the duration of our stay. There was no acknowledgment of the inconvenience nor an attempt to rectify the situation. I inquired about a possible refund for the late check-in and issues, but I was told they would need to consult the owners, and I never received a follow-up. This experience was quite disappointing, and I would not choose to rent from them again.

Kevin is truly an exceptional host who exceeded all our expectations.

The location of the rental was far from the convention center, taking over 30 minutes to walk and just 5 minutes by car. The room itself was quite small, only fitting a double bed, a sofa, and a little table. Additionally, the shower was out of order and there were no kitchen amenities provided. Considering the location and the facilities, the price seemed excessive. I was grateful for the full refund policy on Airbnb, but paying over $300 felt unjustified for what was offered. I hope they consider lowering the price and adding more amenities in the future.
