The location is fantastic, although the building shows its age. The host was very responsive and communicative throughout our stay. The carpets could definitely use a thorough cleaning and a few pieces of furniture have seen better days, with some peeling on the leather. Overall, we enjoyed our time here—it's a cozy spot in a great area, despite a few minor shortcomings.
Our stay at this property for work was absolutely wonderful. The spacious rooms and cozy, clean beds made for a very comfortable experience. The two cottage rooms in the back provided extra privacy, which was ideal for everyone to have their own bathrooms. We enjoyed the pool area, surrounded by trees; we did need to use the nets to keep it tidy, but it was refreshing to take a swim when the weather permitted. The soothing sound of the waterfall added a nice touch at night. The neighborhood itself was peaceful and we felt secure walking to the nearby Publix in the evenings. It’s conveniently situated just a short distance from Clematis St and City Place, where there are numerous bars and restaurants, as well as the beach. The host was very attentive and quickly responded to any of our questions or needs. We would love to return if we can find availability in the future.

This rental is in an excellent area, and the neighborhood felt very secure. It worked perfectly for our family gathering, providing ample space for everyone. The pool had its charm, but the heater was out, making it a bit chilly for our liking; fortunately, we enjoyed the hot tub quite a bit! The guest studios by the pool are quite compact but offer a nice sense of seclusion when needed. Being an older home, there were some signs of age, which is to be expected. We encountered issues with the refrigerator and freezer; the freezer only managed to keep things as cool as a regular fridge, leading to some melted ice. The stairs could be a little tricky, and with only one bedroom on the main floor, I'd recommend this place to guests who don’t have mobility challenges. Also, keep in mind that there's no bath or shower on the main floor. Overall, considering we shared the costs among several families, the price was quite reasonable for the location.

We encountered a small issue with the oven, but the host promptly came by to confirm it was out of order, and we managed fine with the stovetop. Since we were mainly in town for a wedding, we didn't need to whip up elaborate meals. We were really grateful for the thoughtful touches the host provided, which were unexpected but much appreciated. A big thank you to the host! I will definitely consider properties managed by them in the future.
