This spacious rental was perfect for our weekend getaway with friends. While we did encounter a few minor issues, such as a hot tub that needed some cleaning and some cracked flooring on the main level, everything matched the description well and we didn't face any significant problems. I would definitely consider booking this place again.

The owner was fantastic and went above and beyond to help us with our spontaneous reservation after we had to evacuate due to the hurricane. We really appreciated the flexibility.

We arrived in town and expected to be able to check in around 4:00 pm after having some lunch. Unfortunately, when we checked back in at that time, we were informed that the cleaning staff was still working and that it would take longer than anticipated. After multiple inquiries, we finally gained access around 7:45 pm, but not before being subjected to noise from maintenance in the downstairs bathroom due to a leak. To make matters worse, we discovered a toilet and sink left in the kitchen throughout our stay, which was quite off-putting. There was no gesture of apology from the property manager, and when I inquired about a possible refund for the late check-in and inconveniences, they said they would talk to the owners but I never received any updates. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I wouldn't consider staying here again.

The location couldn't be better, but the building does show its age. The host was very communicative and helpful throughout our stay. Some carpets could use a good cleaning, and a few pieces of furniture are in need of repair, like the peeling upholstery. Despite these issues, we had a comfortable stay and enjoyed the great surroundings, though it's not without its imperfections.
