The location is fantastic, situated in a safe area that is perfect for family getaways. The space is well-suited for larger groups, although the swimming pool was a bit chilly due to the heater being out of order. Thankfully, we made great use of the hot tub, which was wonderful! The guest studios near the pool are somewhat compact but provide a nice touch of privacy. Be aware that the property is older, so there are signs of wear. We encountered issues with the refrigerator and freezer not cooling properly, resulting in melted ice. The staircase is a bit tricky, and only one bedroom is on the main floor, making it less ideal for those with mobility concerns, especially since there’s no bathroom or shower on that level. However, considering the price and the ability to share costs among families, it was a reasonable choice for the area.
I would give the host a full five-star rating if it were just about their service. Unfortunately, the unit itself had a few issues that weren't the host's responsibility. There was a broken faucet in one of the bathrooms, but the host took care of it promptly. Also, one of the bathtubs could have used a better cleaning, and the towels provided were not up to par. The property manager should consider replacing them for future guests.
The owner was an amazing host, and the apartment was in excellent condition. It was beautifully decorated, spotless, and free of clutter. My mother stayed here and really enjoyed her time.
