Midcentury Oasis in Orlando

I had a wonderful stay at this property! The location was ideal, and the apartment itself was quite cozy. The amenities, including the pool and gym, were impressive. Our host, Kevin, was very attentive and quick to respond to any queries. I would definitely book again. Just a heads up, the apartment looked a bit different from the photos, but it was still lovely overall.

The location of the rental was quite distant from the convention center, taking over 30 minutes to walk and just about 5 minutes by car. The room itself was on the smaller side, featuring just a double bed, a sofa, and a small table. I also encountered some issues with the shower, which was not functioning properly, and there were no kitchen amenities available. Given the location and the facilities, the price seemed excessively high. Fortunately, I was able to get a full refund according to Airbnb's policy, but paying over $300 felt unjustified for what was offered. I hope that future guests will find a more reasonable rate with additional amenities provided.

Kevin deserves a full five-star rating for his excellent service. Unfortunately, there were a few issues with the unit that were beyond his control. One of the faucets in the bathroom was broken, but Kevin promptly arranged for it to be repaired. Additionally, one of the tubs could have used a bit more cleaning, and the towels provided were not the best quality. It would be great if the owner could look into replacing them.

Mark was a fantastic host. He was incredibly flexible with our last-minute reservation because of the hurricane situation.

Our work trip here was fantastic! The accommodations were spacious, and we found the beds to be both cozy and spotless. The two cottage rooms in the back were a wonderful addition, as they provided privacy and their own bathrooms for everyone. We loved hanging out by the pool area, which was surrounded by beautiful trees. We did need to use the nets provided to keep the pool clean, but once the water was clear, we enjoyed swimming in it while soaking up the sun. The sound of the waterfall in the evenings added such a calming atmosphere too. The neighborhood was extremely peaceful and we felt very safe walking to Publix nearby. It's conveniently located just a short distance from Clematis St and City Place, where there are tons of great dining and nightlife options, plus the beach is close by. Kevin, the host, was incredibly helpful and quick to respond to our queries. We would love to stay here again if the opportunity arises.
