The location is fantastic and the neighborhood felt very safe, making it a great choice for our family getaway. The space was perfect for our group, although the pool could use a functional heater as it was quite chilly. Fortunately, we made good use of the hot tub, which was a highlight! The guest studios near the pool are cozy and offer nice privacy when needed. Keep in mind that the property is older, so you might notice some signs of wear. We did run into some issues with the refrigerator and freezer – the freezer wasn’t cold enough to freeze ice, which was a bit disappointing. The stairs can be tricky, especially for those with mobility concerns, and there's just one bedroom on the ground floor in the main house, with no bath or shower facilities there. Overall, it was a reasonable price for the area, especially if you're splitting costs among several families.
