Charming Walkable Bungalow Loft Apartment

We arrived on a flight that landed around 1:00 pm, hoping to have lunch before checking in at 4:00 pm. However, when we arrived at 4:00, we were informed that the cleaning staff was still busy and it would take a bit longer. After waiting until 5:49 pm without hearing anything, we inquired about the situation, but received no update. At 7:02 pm, we followed up again and were told someone would keep us posted. Ultimately, we didn’t get access until about 7:45 pm. Once inside, we discovered a leak in the downstairs bathroom and tile workers were still finishing up. They were cutting tiles until about 9:30 pm, and unfortunately, they left a used toilet and sink, along with a plunger, in the kitchen throughout our stay. There was no apology or attempt to rectify the situation. I asked about a possible reimbursement for the inconvenience of the late check-in and ongoing issues, but I was told they would have to consult the owners and I never received a response. Overall, it was quite disappointing, and I wouldn’t choose to rent from them again.

Kevin was a fantastic host! He went out of his way to help us out with our last-minute reservation because of the hurricane evacuation. Thankfully, we felt very welcomed and safe during our stay.

What an incredible last-minute getaway! This apartment was just what we needed. It offers convenient parking, a fantastic host, and is within walking distance of everything, including Starbucks, shops, and live music, all just a couple of minutes away. While some areas, like the couch, show a bit of wear, the view from the window and sliding glass door more than make up for it. Highly recommend!
